Match the property.
Use hotel IDs, addresses and coordinates to connect provider records. Keep distinct hotels and ambiguous matches separate.
QUALITY AT HOTELUSE
A hotel your agent can identify.
A price your traveler can verify.
TWO STANDARDS. ONE HOTEL LAYER.
01 / HOTEL DATA QUALITY
The same hotel can have different names, IDs and policies across suppliers. Your agent needs a consistent starting point.
Use hotel IDs, addresses and coordinates to connect provider records. Keep distinct hotels and ambiguous matches separate.
Review names, facilities, deposits and pay-at-property charges where source data is available. Unresolved differences need verification.
Return mapped provider IDs, record versions and source timestamps. Missing or conflicting fields need verification.
Our feed standard is weekly updates, with a 14-day maximum. Source timestamps let you inspect the age of a record.

02 / PRICE ACCURACY
Search, hotel details and pre-payment.
The same stay should carry the same total.
Compare the same dates, guests, room, meal plan, cancellation terms, market and device. Include mandatory taxes and fees. Check prices in the provider’s booking currency; keep reference conversions clearly labeled.
Illustrative provider example
Simulated values to show how we evaluate quality. Not actual Expedia performance data.
Compare the API quote with the provider’s hotel page and total immediately before payment, with the same rate conditions.
Sample bookings are part of partner evaluation. A visible price alone does not establish availability or bookability.
Our provider response standard is under 10 seconds for search and room-rate requests, with clear handling of failed or missing quotes.
Price accuracy = matching full-stay totals ÷ comparable checks. Incomparable rates are recorded separately. Response-time measurements are per provider; complete HotelUse requests also include hotel lookup and room grouping. Timeouts & failure handling ↗
03 / PARTNER STANDARDS
Feed quality, price accuracy, response times and support all matter when selecting a partner.
Providers must refresh their hotel feeds weekly where possible, with no more than 14 days between updates.
We check delivery timestamps and changes to hotel openings, closures, names, and metadata. Overdue feeds require a refresh.
We compare hotel names, addresses, and coordinates across providers to catch incorrect matches.
We compare consecutive feeds and track ID changes. Frequent ID churn, recycled IDs, or broken mappings fail our review.
Agents compare the search quote with the total just before payment: same dates, guests, market, room, meal plan, cancellation terms, taxes, and mandatory fees.
Our evaluation also includes sample hotel bookings to confirm an offer can actually be booked. We investigate price differences and failed bookings.
Both hotel search and hotel detail / room-rate API responses must complete within 10 seconds.
We track response times, errors, and timeouts. Repeated breaches require a fix before the provider can continue serving requests.
Providers must have a named support team and a responsible contact for integration and operational issues.
We review how the team handles customer complaints, pricing and data issues, escalations, and follow-through to resolution.
Bring your feed, coverage and rate API. We’ll review them against the same standards.
